Garden County Nursing Home

Garden County Hospital was completed April 1, 1969, and the attached 40 bed Nursing Home was completed on July 1, 1971. Today, Garden County Health Service Long Term Care Unit is a 40 bed intermediate care facility. Our facility is able to boast a several year history of "above standard" annual State and Federal compliance surveys.

The Long Term Care Unit provides 24-hour licensed nursing care that assists residents in meeting their daily needs and to help them maintain their optimum functioning level within an atmosphere of comfort and dignity. Adult Day Care, Respite Care and Hospice services are also available.

The facility has recently been remodeled and offers private and semi-private rooms, whirlpool baths, family style dining, restorative nursing care and a complete activities schedule. There is a chapel, beauty shop, fenced outdoor area, and a family room where residents can gather with family and friends. A van is also available for resident transport for activities or non-emergent medical care off campus.
