Position Description: This position focuses on bench technologist duties which include chemistry, cardiac panels, coagulation testing, blood banking, urinalysis, hematology, and EKG. Reference pathology services do our cultures and sensitivity, microbiology, histology and any special laboratory needs. We do not have obstetric services. We are recruiting a full time staff member to also participate in the call rotation. Salaries are competitive for our region and commensurate with experience. Medical Technician Lab Manager

Position Description: This position is responsible for the day to day operations in our Critical Access Hospital. Previous management experience, in any field, would be preferred. Experience in blood banking, hematology, coagulation studies, and chemistries required. Our chemistry machines are the Vitros 250 and TOSOH AIA 360. Our laboratory personnel perform the collection of and reporting of ABGs, they perform the ECGs, and set up out patients with Holter monitors. Our laboratory performs approximately 824 outpatient studies per month. This is averaged between the busier months in the winter and the slower months in the summer. On-call is required and shared between 3 individuals. Our inpatient census averages 1.54 per day and we see approximately 45-50 ER patients per month.

CT Technician/Radiology Technician

Position Description: This position is responsible for the day to day and after hour radiologic needs for a ten bed Critical Access Hospital. Our radiology department performs approximately 240 studies per month. This includes the contract services of mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and bone density. The X-ray machine is a Dell Medical and the films are processed through a table top processor. X-rays are then scanned and sent over the T-1 line for interpretation by a radiologist at Regional West Medical Center. On-call is required and shared between 3 individuals. Our inpatient census averages 1.54 per day and we see approximately 45-50 ER patients per month.

Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician

Position Description: This position focuses on working to provide clinical, emergency, and acute care to patients throughout the life cycle. We do not have obstetric services. We are recruiting to staff to a call schedule of 1:3. Salaries are competitive for our region and commensurate with experience. Nebraska Blue Cross Health and Dental Insurance as well as facility sponsored retirement program are among the benefits available for our employees. Relocation assistance is negotiable. We are designated an underserved area with possible loan repayment from Federal through the National Service Health Corp and/or Nebraska State Loan Repayment Program. We also participate in the Nebraska State 30 program for 3-1 visa applicants.

Practice Description:

Our patient base ranges in age from infants to elderly. In an average day acute, chronic, women's health and preventative issues are seen. On call shifts could have no calls in, while other shifts are busy. Air transport staffed with paramedics and ground transport is at your disposal for critical patients. Cardiac, trauma, orthopedic and surgical patients are typically transferred to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Medical Center of the Rockies and Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. X-rays are scanned and sent over the T-1 line for interpretation by a radiologist at Regional West Medical Center.
